In addition you will learn to assess risks in sport and develop your knowledge of fitness testing, training and instructing in sport and physical activities. Finally you will also gain a better understanding of exercise, health and lifestyle.

On completion of the course students can aspire to the next level in BTEC to a Level 4. The qualification can be used in addition with other subjects to assist in higher education, further sports training, coaching qualifications or work based placements in the sporting field.
